"For as long as I can remember, the guitar has been a part of my life. I've been picking it up and and putting it down for about 30 years-strumming chords, playing songs I love, and feeling that deep connection to music. But here's the thing... I never really learned the "right" way to play. I never dug into music theory, I never mastered scales fully, and I certainly never felt like I understood the guitar beyond just playing by tab and feel.

Then, in December 2024, something changed.

My beautiful wife gifted me an Epiphone Starling acoustic guitar for Christmas, and in that moment, I knew it was time to finally commit to learning for real. Not just casually picking up the guitar when inspiration struck, but truly understanding how to play, how to improve, and how to grow as a musician.

That's when I decided to take on a personal challenge for 2025-to play guitar every single day and share a video of my progress on YouTube. But I didn't want to just document my own journey... I wanted to help others learn alongside me.

Most guitar teachers online are already masters of the instrument. They've been trained, they know the theory inside and out, and they teach from a place of expertise. I'm different.

I'm learning in real time- breaking things down as I go, figuring things out, making mistakes, and sharing what I discover. This isn't about perfection; it's about progress.
